21/12/13: AMMAN – MADABA – MT. NEBO – DEAD SEA – PETRA |
After breakfast visit of Madaba. In the Bible, Madaba is named Madeba or Medeba, city of the Sihon (4 Moses 21:30). The city lies in what was the territory of the race of the Reubens (Joshua 13:15 - 16 or Isaiah 15:2 and 1 Chronicles 19:7). The main point of interest in Madaba is the mosaic map of the Holy Land from Byzantine times.
Continue to MOUNT NEBO, 15 Km away of Madaba.
The Bible reports that Moses climbed up onto Mount Nebo, coming from the plains of Moab. On the mountain God showed him "all the land" which was promised to the descendants. Moses died on this mountain; however it is unknown where he is buried.
Visit of Dead Sea on the way to Petra.
Continue to Petra for dinner & overnight in HTL.

22/12/13 : PETRA - AMMAN |
After early breakfast visit of a rose-red city of Petra. This city is the treasure of ancient world, hidden behind an almost impenetrable barrier of rugged mountains, boasting incomparable scenes that make it the most majestic and imposing ancient site still-standing nowadays.
Petra is considered the most famous and gorgeous site in Jordan. It is the legacy of the Nabataeans, an industrious Arab people who settled in southern Jordan more than 2000 years ago. Admired then for its refined culture, massive architecture and ingenious complex of dams and water channels, Petra is now a UNESCO world heritage site and one of The New 7 Wonders of the World that enchants visitors from all corners of the globe.
Transfer to Amman for dinner & overnight in the hotel.

23/12/13 : AMMAN - JERUSALEM |
Panoramic tour of Amman.
Transfer to Allenby Bridge / Ben Gurion Airport to the Dan Hotel, Jerusalem – Overnight on Half Board basis (dinner & breakfast).

24/12/13 : JERUSALEM – BETLEHEM |
Breakfast. Join our daily regular tour to Jerusalem including major sites of Old City & Yadvashem Museum. Dinner at the Dan Hotel and at 19:00 – Our driver will transfer you to celebrate the Christmas evening in Bethlehem, free time ad transfer back to the Dan Hotel at 01:30 AM.

Join our Daily regular tour to Masada & the Dead Sea (towel & swimming gear are needed), evening back to the Dan Hotel.

Transfer to Sheikh Hussein to cross to Jordan.
Visit of Jerash, one of the best preserved Greco-Roman city, one of the great cities of the Decapolis League.
Continue to Amman for dinner & overnight.
